...In a way, yes. But in the end had they escaped it would have been much worse overall for everyone.

It's a hard thing to come to terms with.

And going back on what I thought was right, yes.

It's not often I have to prove myself wrong, and it's not a pleasant feeling. I'd much rather charge ahead and break through any obstacles between me and my goal.

The only problem is when I'm the one in the way of my own goal.

Do you feel any different for the experience?

Maybe a little. But in all sorts of different ways. I did something I've been planning to do for a while, helped someoen I love realize their true potential... saved the city again...

...I'm not sure if I necessarily changed much from it, to be honest. It's just another day for me. Maybe the calls are tough sometimes...

But I made a promise to myself, years ago. I'd become someone so tough that even if the world were to fall directly on my shoulders, I'd keep pushing on. That's the kind of guy I'm going to be, no matter what.

If that got a little speechy... well. Sorry.
